Why Matilda Gomes?

Matilda is our 7-year-old daughter, and she loves to draw, colour and create.

Give her some paper, colouring pencils and a little imagination and she is happy. Drawing and colouring are among her favourite ways to relax, have fun and express herself — and when she finishes something, she loves showing everyone what she has created.

A creative world inspired by Matilda

That is where MatildaGomes.co.uk began. We wanted to create a safe, parent-managed space where Matilda can share selected creations while encouraging other children to pick up their pencils, use their imaginations and make something of their own.

Her interests range from animals and nature to colourful characters, games, music and imaginative worlds. Those interests inspire the activities here, while the artwork and resources we publish are original or appropriately licensed.

Parent managed, creativity led

This is not a website run by a seven-year-old. All publishing, communication, privacy and commercial activity is managed by Matilda’s parents or guardians. Matilda provides the most important ingredient: the imagination.

We deliberately do not publish information about Matilda’s school, routines, precise location or other private details.

Imagine. Draw. Make. Learn.

Here you will find Matilda’s creations alongside colouring pages, drawing activities, creative challenges, printables and ideas designed to help children spend more time creating and less time simply consuming.
